Caro Laughs

Sunday, June 24, 2007

I think I heard Caro laugh for the first time on Friday afternoon. It was the best sound in the world!

I was holding her on my knees in front of me, and she was smiling a lot. I kept talking and smiling back at her, and then I started tickling her underarms. All of the sudden I hear this little "heh, heh, heh, heh" - so I try the tickling again, and she chuckled again! She did it several more times after that.

She hasn't done it since (we've tried but she hasn't been in a good enough mood), but we'll keep you posted.

  1. heh, heh, heh . . . can't wait to hear that! I hope she feels like chuckling this weekend; maybe the sight of Dad doing some of his hula hoop stretches will get her laughing again.

  5. Good Evening Loveland Family!
Thank you very much for the opportunity to share in your family. What a beautiful baby, please hug and squeeze her a big bunch for us! All of us parents of children with special needs are blessed to enjoy a life full of unique moments only we will understand and grow from. Learning to laugh with your child is a wonderful gift on this journey of parenthood. My son Nick is challenged with Autism. We laugh each day at his wonderfully odd sense of humor! A giggle is truly the very best and most effective medicine God gave to us!
